Since both of us, Liane and Maike, are big ocean lovers a huge dream of ours was to take Yoga x Anatomy to a magical place by the sea and create a space for learning and growing in a like-minded community.
You are keen on empowering your practice and gaining body awareness in a way that goes beyond what a regular yoga class can offer? Let’s go deep and explore our bodies in daily yoga classes and anatomy labs. Let’s share fun times in the water. Let’s stretch our muscles in soothing Yin classes and calm our nervous system in meditation sessions.
We are beyond excited to share our knowledge and our passion for yoga, anatomy, and movement science with you in a place that stole our hearts and feels like home for the soul.

The team.
Liane Günther
Liane is physiotherapist with more than 12 years of experience. She is holding a PhD in Public Health and is a qualified yoga teacher (+250 hrs of training + 150 hrs of teaching). She teaches Hatha, Vinyasa and Yin .
Maike Blankenstein
Maike is the creator of Maike’s Yoga Journey. She is a qualified yoga teacher and Pilates instructor (+600 hrs of training, +1.000 classes taught). She teaches Vinyasa, Rocket, and Power Pilates in several studios in Düsseldorf, Germany, and hosts workshops and day retreats.
Lucas, Arthur & Renato
The team of Aldeia Caiçara around its founders Lucas, Arthur & Renato will take care of our well-being on site and create an atmosphere that feels like home.
The three met in Australia, lived and surfed together for a while. The beautiful landscapes and the constant swell brought them to Sagres in 2018, where they decided to built Aldeia based on the Brazilian Caiçara culture: a group of people born on the beach, living a simple and rustic collective life, in harmony with nature and the ocean.
