This is to give you an idea of what I am currently offering - from regular classes (in-person and online) to private teaching and corporate yoga.

My teaching style.

I teach strong, dynamic movement — a blend of Vinyasa Yoga, Rocket-inspired flows, and Pilates. My classes connect breath, strength, and mindful awareness, leaving you feeling energised, grounded, and good in your body.

For me, the mat is a playground. Movement isn’t about forcing yourself into shapes — it’s about exploring your body, building strength, and discovering what feels good from the inside out. You can expect creative sequencing, little challenges, and that satisfying “I-worked-my-body” feeling afterwards (my students say this a lot).

My teaching is modern, clear, and precise, with intelligent cues that support you in moving safely and intentionally. Most importantly, I want you to listen to your body, work with your body, and enjoy the journey — on the mat and beyond.

Weekly classes.

When I’m in Düsseldorf, I offer a select number of classes and occasionally cover additional sessions. For the latest updates and substitutions, follow along on Instagram.

Current Schedule

Private teaching.

Looking for a class tailored exactly to your needs? Want support with a specific pose, goal, or area of your practice? Or planning a special event that could use a personalised yoga or Pilates session?

I offer private classes designed 100% around you — your body, your intentions, and your level. From one-on-one sessions to smaller groups, these classes give you focused guidance, individualised adjustments, and movement that truly supports your journey. Just let me know what you are looking for.

Workshops & day retreats.

I regularly host workshops and (day) retreats that bring movement, connection, and fresh experiences to your practice.

What participants are saying.

“I took part in Maike’s Vinyasa yoga classes and they are great! The way she explains every move is very clear, I almost never have to watch what she is doing because she describes everything in detail, allowing me to concentrate on my flow. If I need to be sure however, I can always watch what she is doing. The classes are for all levels, so she includes both easier and harder asanas - you can then adapt them to your own level. Highly recommended.”

“Maike’s yoga class is challenging in a very good way. I always learn more about my body, my practice and the opportunities yoga offers me. She guides every participant with her heartwarming personality and way of teaching through her class - no matter what level. As a bonus you do feel your muscles and your practice right on the next day again ;-).”

— Simone

“Maike’s yoga class is one of my highlights every week. You can see that she prepares all sessions with lots of love & passion. The classes usually are a great mix of peaceful and powerful moments. In very short time, you are able to relax and reconnect with yourself. Apart from that, I love Maike’s calm, likable and authentic approach. Her classes are modern, yet inspiring at the same time.”

”At  the age of 64 some of the Yoga asanas , e.g. the Mermaid, are very difficult for me. But after doing Yoga with Maike for one year and a half I am nearly as flexible as 30 years ago. I even learned to understand and to  do the Half Moon in a private lesson with Maike. She explains the asanas very patiently and clearly. Who knows, maybe I will be able to do the Mermaid one day.”
